The whole crew booked in one place, so nobody plans a shoot over Viber again.
Momčilo is a web and mobile app we built for a TV production group. It puts every shoot, the crew, the vans and the equipment in one calendar, and the crew confirms from their phone.
See it in action
The whole production at a glance.
Who goes where
Four weeks ahead: every shoot, who is on it, which van and which equipment go with them, and whether the crew has confirmed.
What comes next
Each type of show has its own steps, from script to publishing, so nobody asks what comes next.
What is in the van
Cameras, drones and microphones are booked together with the shoot, so two crews never plan around the same drone on the same day.
By the numbers
What Momčilo keeps track of.
The transformation
From phone calls and Excel to one calendar.
Before
A shoot was organised by calling people: the cameraman by phone, the sound engineer on Viber, the driver by email. Then someone typed it all into an Excel file three people were editing at once.
Nobody could see at a glance who was free, which van was taken or whether the drone was booked. If someone cancelled, the calling started again.
The full picture lived in the coordinator's head. When the coordinator was busy, the picture was gone.
Now
Momčilo shows the next four weeks on one calendar: every shoot, every person, every vehicle, every piece of equipment.
The crew gets a push notification on their phone and confirms with one tap. The coordinator sees who is confirmed and who needs replacing, without a single call.
Everyone works from the same schedule, updated the moment something changes, from the office or from the field.
What else we built for them
Beyond the calendar, three things the production uses every day.
They needed the crew to answer without being called
Mobile app for the crew
Cameramen, sound engineers, editors and freelancers get a notification when they are booked. Confirm or decline, and the coordinator knows in real time.
They needed every show to follow the same steps
Workflows per show
Each show has its own sequence: script assigned, script written, script reviewed, shoot, edit, publish. Everyone sees which step is done and which is next.
They needed to know what was in the van
Equipment and vehicle booking
Cameras, microphones, drones, cars and the van are booked with the shoot, so two crews never plan around the same drone on the same day.
THE RESULT
Shoots planned weeks ahead, not the night before.
The production group now plans every shoot four weeks ahead, in one place. The crew confirms from their phone, nothing gets booked twice, and the coordinator no longer spends the day on the phone.
